Room 4 Newsletter:  Term 3, Week 5

Sunday 21st August, 2016.

Year 3 & 4 Camp:
1.There will be a meeting this Thursday 25th August at 7 pm in Room 4 for the parents coming to camp.  This will be to discuss travel arrangements, food, and to clarify roles and responsibilities.
2.Health forms for all children and adults attending camp will come home in student’s clear files today (Monday). These need to be returned by Wednesday please.

Note: On Wednesday we will be learning how to include the names of our brothers and sisters on our mihi. This piece of language fits after talking about our parents, and needs to be customised for each individual.

Important dates coming up:
*ICT this week with Mrs Flannery – Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
*Tuesday 23rd August – Central Otago Cross Country.
*Wednesday 24th August – Open Day afternoon.
*Thursday 25th August 7pm – Meeting for those parents coming to camp, Room 4.
*Sunday 28th August – 9 am: Whole School Mass. Please bring a plate of food to share.
*Wednesday 7th- Friday 9th September: Year 3 & 4 Camp to Dunedin. Dunedin Holiday Park overnight Wednesday, Ōtākou Marae overnight Thursday.
*Sunday 18th September – 9 am Mass: Sacrament of Confirmation.

Wow, we are at the end of the Term! I have loved teaching the children in Room 4 for the last two terms and I look forward to my last week...
