Term 4, Week 4

Room 4 Newsletter: Term 4, Week 4

Sunday 30th October

Well done to everyone who participated in the School Athletics sports on Thursday, and to all the parent helpers who made it possible. The children in Room 4 did some great writing the next day about their experiences.

 Athletics Day:
I woke up in the morning and got dressed. We got to the high jump first, and it was my turn. I loved it. When I was at sprints I felt nervous while I was running. Harry showed confidence in the high jump. I came 9th and Charlie came 10th. But I hated the hurdles, they were made of wood and metal and at the start I fell over because my arm went too high and hurt my bone!

Is this the correct technique Mrs Brydges?

Important dates coming up:

Clothing and belongings:
There is a large box of clothing, shoes, socks and all sorts of things piling up in Room 4. I will endeavour to send this home with the correct children this week. If you are missing anything, please encourage your child to take responsibility for finding and taking it.

Changes in Room 4:
We have another student in Room 4 and that is Cass. Welcome Cass.
We have also had Frans back in class with us over the past few weeks. Welcome back Frans.
I would like to remind everyone that with Frans in class it is even more important than usual that if we have a cold or sickness of any kind, that we stay away from school.
It is also really important that Frans is not pushed or physically hurt in any way. The children have been great at taking this on board, and we are also trying to teach other children throughout the school about the need to take care around Frans.
Thank your for your support.

Have a great week. Markelle J
