Our colossal squid – set up for the WOW night at the end of Term 3.
The squid became a topic of immense interest in Room 4 during our Inquiry.
The biggest one discovered so far is between 12 and 14 metres long, the length of our classroom!!!!

Have a great week.

Sun Hats:
The weather has already heated up considerably and hats will be necessary in the playground. Please ensure your child has a named hat at school at all times.

Year 4 Dictionaries
Grant Constable has delivered a set of Illustrated Dictionaries for me to distribute to this year’s Year 4’s on behalf of the Rotary Club of Alexandra. These will be named and given to the children later this week, and will come home in their school bags for safe-keeping.
Thank you Rotary for your continued generosity with this initiative.

Holidays
I look forward to hearing the children’s holiday stories on their return to school. Adam and I had a big adventure to Australia where we spent time with family and made friends with some kangaroos.
This is how close we got!

Have a great week.
