Oral Language Opportunity:
This
week we will begin preparation for individual oral language presentations in
Room 4. These will take place each Friday morning, according to the roster
below. While there will be time given in class to support this task, some
aspects of it need to be done at home, for example finding an appropriate news
report in a newspaper, or practising a poem, report or song.
We
will rotate the tasks once everyone has completed the first round of
presentations.
The
purpose is to build confidence when presenting or speaking in front of the
class. Each presentation will be followed with an opportunity for others to ask
questions and give feedback.

Puppet show:
Work with your partner to prepare a short
role-play, to be presented in the form
of a puppet show.
We have some puppets already, but you may want to make some stick-puppets to fit your theme.
Ask Mrs Ward for some time in class to plan this.
