Room 4 Newsletter:  Term 2, Week 1

Welcome back for Term 2. Another busy term ahead with lots of challenges and learning. I trust you have had a great break, I know the children will have plenty of stories full of fun and adventure.

Important dates coming up:

*Wednesday 4^th May – Chris Skinner Concert at the Church 10.30 am.

*Wednesday 4^th May – ICT Time with Mrs Flannery in Room 4 (pm).

*8^th May – Ascension Sunday and Mothers Day.

*Tuesday 10^th May – Swimming for Room 4 at 11.15 am. Further dates below.

*Thursday 12^th May, 7 pm, Parent meeting for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Week 2).

*Monday 16^th May – Teacher Only Day (Week 3).

*Sunday 29^th May, 9 am, Whole School Mass (End of Week 4).

Sacramental Programme – First Reconciliation:

A reminder that we are about to begin the Sacramental Programme for those undertaking Reconciliation (Penance/Forgiveness); Confirmation; and First Holy Communion throughout this year. If you have questions about the Sacramental Programme please do not hesitate to call Father Pat, Mrs Eastwood, or myself. The first parent and child meeting is 7 pm, Thursday 12^th May (Week 2 of Term 2) at Father Pat’s house.

Swimming Dates:

*Week 2: Tuesday 10^th May. 

*Week 3: Tuesday 17^th May and Thursday 19^th May.

*Week 4: Tuesday 24^th May and Thursday 26^th May.

*Week 5: Tuesday 31^st May and Thursday 2^nd June.

*Week 6: Tuesday 7^th June.

BUS: Rooms 7 & 4 will share a bus that will leave from school at 10:30 am and return at 12:00 noon.

Rooms 2 & 3 will share a bus that will leave at 12:15 pm and return at 1:45 pm.

Chris Skinner Concert:

Our church is privileged to be hosting this special concert by Chris Skinner, this Wednesday morning at 10.30 am. Please support this if you can.
