Celebrating St. Gerard’s R.E. Learning:
Thank you Dani to being so brave and standing up in front of Church this morning to introduce the artwork from Rooms 1, 2 & 4. We are looking forward to sharing more of our wonderful R.E. learning from right across the school at the Sunday Mass each week next term. This could be artwork, a role play, or simply a message from our Special Character leaders to let the parish know what we are up to. If you have any ideas for what you could present to the Parish in this way, please let me know and we will slot you in on a Sunday that works for you. J

Scripture Eisteddfods:
Tomorrow (Monday) and  (Tuesday) are Scripture Eisteddfod Presentation Days. Please come prepared with your scripture, bible, and introduction. Year 3 & 4 students from both Room 3 & 4 will present their eisteddfods together for myself and Mrs Beilby. Mrs Lyon and I will hear our own Year 5’s. From these results, students will be shortlisted to present their Scripture Eisteddfod at Thursday’s assembly.

Technology Update:
While we have made wonderful progress with our Garden structures, the weather is cooling down now and we would really like to have them finished by early next term. We could do with a little help with using tools so each group can finish their task. Please let me know if you can join us, whenever it suits and for only short periods of time, in order to get these finished. Carpentry is not one of my strengths. L

Room 4 Artwork:
The children have done a lovely job of their Jesus Strand/Lent Artwork which is proudly displayed in the Church, and with photocopies in the classroom. I have also added these to the blog, so you can’t possibly miss it. Enjoy!
Have a great week and a wonderful holiday break.
