Oral Language:
Well done to
those who presented their oral language items on Friday. Zaria did a wonderful
job of her Roald Dahl poem, Grace did a really interesting news item,
Kimberley’s book report was well prepared and nicely delivered. Keira and Ana
did their amazing gymnastics routine. Nicolas and Sully found some great
puppets for their show, they just needed to develop their story line a bit more

Some amazing stories are underway and will
be completed this week in class. Next week's homework time will be dedicated to
publishing these stories on a computer at home, so watch out for these.
Holy Spirit Art:
The children have now completed their Holy
Spirit Art and these pictures will be placed up around the walls of the Church.
Their pictures represent different aspects of the Holy Spirit in our lives, for
example God’s creation (animals, nature); the symbols of wind, water and fire;
God’s hand in our lives; and the Cross (Jesus’ life, death and resurrection).
Do have a look when you get the chance.
Roald Dahl Film-strip Re-tell:
We also really enjoyed re-telling the story
of ‘The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me’ in the form of a film-strip, with pictures.
Do have a look at this the next time you are in Room 4.
Keep warm.
Regards,
Markelle Ward J
